At Uniting Vic.Tas, we offer a range of mental health and outreach services in Ballarat to help individuals, families and communities thrive. We work alongside people of all ages and at all stages of life to empower them to live capably and confidently.
Our 105 Dana Street location is home to multiple different services, including alcohol and other drug services, counselling, emergency relief support, and homelessness and housing services.

Our Ballarat alcohol and other drug services provide multiple avenues of support tailored to suit the requirements of both youth and adults. We can also assist the families of those struggling with alcohol and drug abuse with our Family Counselling Service.
We also provide alcohol and drug support programs specific to young people.
These Youth Treatment Services include counselling, outreach services and withdrawal programs.

Uniting’s Mental Health Counselling in Ballarat provides you with tailored support in a safe and confidential environment.
You can choose weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions to focus on your mental wellbeing and work on your goals with our qualified counsellors.
If you require support accessing a nutritious meal or simply need to feel more socially connected, you can access our Ballarat Community Meals programs BreezeWay or Meals for Change.
Members of Meals For Change can eat at participating cafes and restaurants for $3. Access to the program is for young people through referral by your support worker only.
You can join us at BreezeWay, our program at 105 Dana Street for free, and you’ll receive a delicious meal as well as the opportunity to make new social connections helping to create a stable support network.

Uniting Vic.Tas has a free Energy Support program. If you are getting behind on your energy bills and need assistance to contact your retailer, set up an affordable payment plan, stop a disconnection notice, or understand how you can save money on your bills then call us on 1800 313 126 or email [email protected]. This is a free over the phone service, that anybody can access.
If you are currently homeless or in danger of losing your home, we can provide you with emergency housing and a range of homelessness support services.
At Uniting, we know how important it is to have a safe home. We offer multiple different housing options such as Transitional and Community Housing so you can find an affordable and suitable place to live.
Our support programs are here to help you access safe and secure housing when you need it most.
We provide Family Reunification programs to support Ballarat families through alcohol and drug related issues, family violence and Child Protection systems.
Access to these services are facilitated through a referral from a Child Protection Worker.
