Resilient communities

People experiencing crisis and homelessness often need support while they focus on building brighter days ahead.

We provide housing and emergency relief support for people in crisis and people newly-arrived in our community.

Those facing financial hardship and people seeking asylum can access food parcels, bill payment assistance and community meals.

Building financial capacity and wellbeing can help create stability in the long term. We work with people to develop their budgeting skills and assist them in applying for safe, no-interest loans.

If you need immediate support, the Ask Izzy website can help direct you. If you are a Telstra mobile phone user, you can access the site even if you are out of credit.

If you are homeless, at risk of homelessness or escaping family violence, call 1800 825 955 – 24 hour, statewide, toll free.

Women and children experiencing family violence can call Safe Steps on (03) 9322 3555 or toll free 1800 015 188 (not free from mobile).
