Organised by Gippsland Lakes Community Health, in conjunction with other local health and community service providers, this event is part of the 16 Days of Activism campaign, a global movement designed to end violence against women.
Uniting Vic. Tas is taking part in this event.
Walk to Change the Story aims to raise awareness about the violence that women and children are experiencing in the community.
The event also seeks to highlight the local support services available to those impacted, and ways to prevent family violence.
