25 Nov 2022

1:45pm

 until 3:00pm

Monash School of Rural Health & Agnes Unit Assembly Area

Friday the 25th of November is International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the start of the United Nations 16 days of Activism ending International Human Rights Day, 10 December.

For the first day of 16 days of Activism (25 November), Uniting will be walking for equality at 1:45pm. The walk will be a short circuit around the hospital starting at the Monash School of Rural Health & Agnes Unit Assembly Area in association with Latrobe Regional Hospital and Latrobe City Council.

Together, we can prevent domestic and family violence and violence against women. You can show your support for victim-survivors and help send a message across Victoria that domestic and family violence and violence against women is never okay by organising a walk, wearing orange, and sharing a video or photo from your walk on social media.
