Tuning in to Teens is a 6-session parenting program that is designed to help parents and carers feel more confident in supporting their teens. This program provides tools to understand and respond to teenage emotions, and helps parents manage their own emotional responses.
This program will explore how to:
• Communicate more effectively with your teen.
• Understand your teen better.
• Increase awareness and regulation of your own emotions.
• Help your teen learn to manage difficult emotions.
• Help to prevent behavioural issues in your teen.

• When: Wednesdays 18th of February – 25th of March 2026
• Time: 6 pm – 8 pm
• Cost: Free
• Suitable for: Parents and carers of young people aged 10 to 18.
• Eligibility: Available to parents and carers residing in the areas listed below, or who are connected in with a Family Wellbeing Program partner service.
