Does your child worry about making a mistake or being embarrassed in front of others?
Does your child worry about fitting in with peers or experience friendship issues?
Does your child sometimes sit alone at lunchtime or avoid interacting with classmates?
Treehouse is a therapeutic art and craft-based program for children who need extra support with social skills, self-esteem, managing feelings and developing resilience.
In Treehouse, we use art and play-based activities to explore worries, feelings, supports and coping strategies.
Children will:
• Participate and share with others
• Play games
• Do art/craft-based activities
• Complete their own written and illustrated story book.

• Where: Uniting – 185 Mt Dandenong Road, Croydon
• Cost: Free
• Suitable for: Children who will be in grade 3 or 4 in 2026
• Time: 4:15 pm – 5:45 pm
*Please note, parent/carer involvement is scheduled at the end of each session from 5:30 pm – 5:45 pm.

Term 1 2026
- Tuesday 17th March – Getting to know you
- Tuesday 24th March – Strengths
- Tuesday 31st March – Supportive people School holiday break
Term 2 2026
- Tuesday 21st April – Worries and feelings
- Tuesday 28th April– Coping with worries
- Tuesday 5th May – Playing with Others
- Tuesday 12th May – Friendship
- Tuesday 19th May – Celebration
Other information:
Only one child from each school is accepted into the program, providing space and opportunity for children to safely explore their feelings.
An intake assessment will be completed to confirm that this group is suitable for your child.
