Tuning in to Kids is a free 6-week parenting program that focuses on the emotional connection between parents/carers and their children.
Would you like to learn how to:
• Be better at talking with your child?
• Be better at understanding your child?
• Help your child learn to manage their emotions?
• Help to prevent behavioural problems?
• Teach your child to deal with conflict?
Tuning in to Kids shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence. Children with higher emotional intelligence:
• Have greater success with making and keeping friends
• Have better concentration at school
• Are more able to calm down when upset or angry
The details:
• Where: Online
• When: Tuesdays 14th of October – 25th of November 2025
(With a break from group on Tuesday the 4th of November for Melbourne Cup public holiday)
• Time: 6 pm – 8 pm
• Cost: FREE
• Suitable for: People residing within the inner or outer east of Melbourne
• Eligibility: Parents and carers with children aged 3 – 10 years.
Please note, this program is only eligible to parents and carers residing in the inner and outer east of Melbourne.
Other information:
A brief telephone assessment will be held prior to the group, to confirm that this group is suitable for your circumstances.
Please note: Only parents and carers can attend programs. Children cannot be present during groups.
