Uniting Werribee Support and Housing are calling upon donations of blankets that will be given to those who are sleeping rough or experiencing homelessness.
Information about the upcoming census will also be available with a focus on the importance of counting those experiencing homelessness in data collection.
Donations of blankets will be collected at the free community event on Saturday 6th August from 11am – 2pm at Corner of Duncans Rd and Synnot Street Werribee. There will be a sausage sizzle, animal nursery, face painting and a jumping castle.
