Anti-Poverty Week Launch – Tasmania

18 Oct 2022
10.30am

There are a million reasons why someone can end up living below the poverty line, but there are only a few reasons they stay there.

Mathers Lane, Hobart

Anti-Poverty Week 2022 is an opportunity to raise awareness of what poverty looks like in Australia in 2022, and advocate for the large, systemic solutions that are required to ending it.

Jeremy Pettet (Uniting Vic.Tas) and Kim Haworth (Salvation Army Tasmania) are Co-Chairs for Anti-Poverty Week Tasmania.

Guest Speaker: Commissioner for Children and Young People Tasmania, Leanne Mclean
