Therapeutic Residential Care

Therapeutic Residential Care provides a home for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live with family or foster carers.

Our Therapeutic Residential Adolescent Care Unit in the Wimmera is for young people aged 12 to 17 who have lived through neglect and abuse in their day to day lives.

Therapeutic care is focused on healing and recovery from the effects of abuse, neglect and separation from family.

It is especially beneficial for children and young people with multiple and complex needs.

Our team create an environment that is as homely as possible.

Four young people live in the home at any one time.

All referrals are made through the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Victoria.
