Our youth residential care service supports young people experiencing homelessness, mental health, alcohol, and other drug misuse to work towards a brighter future with safe accomodation.
Youth Residential Services provide young people support and safe accommodation if they are facing mental illness, homelessness, alcohol or drug misuse and disconnection from their family.
Barnagnen provides psychosocial rehabilitation support to young people, aged 16-25 years old, with mental health conditions that are impacting their everyday living. This 12-month program is run in a residential setting and helps young people to break the cycle of instability around their mental illness.
The Karrung Foyer is an integrated housing and support program for young people, aged 16-25 years old. It provides support to eligible young people from the Grampians region and provides education, employment and training with the aim of moving towards independence and the prevention of future homelessness. Young people can stay in the program for up to two years. Karrung also has a Short Stay program available.
Tabor House is an Alcohol and other Drug clinical withdrawal service for young people from across Victoria, situated in a tranquil rural residential setting on 9 acres on the fringe of Ballarat. This program is available to anyone aged 12-25 years old, and operates from a harm minimisation framework, providing evidence-based treatment and support.
Therapeutic Residential Care provides a home for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live with family or foster carers.
Our Therapeutic Residential Adolescent Care Unit in the Wimmera is for young people aged 12 to 17 who have lived through neglect and abuse in their day to day lives.
Therapeutic care is focused on healing and recovery from the effects of abuse, neglect and separation from family.
It is especially beneficial for children and young people with multiple and complex needs.
Our team create an environment that is as homely as possible.
Four young people live in the home at any one time.
All referrals are made through the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) in Victoria.
