Withdrawal (detox) services
Uniting Vic.Tas Ivanhoe offers withdrawal services (also known as detox) from alcohol and other drugs (AOD) for adults.
Our withdrawal services include medical and psychological support where required. Withdrawal is usually one part of a longer-term treatment plan to assist with change in AOD usage.
This location is staffed by nurses to provide medicated withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs.
We also offer four beds within a specialist facility for mothers to stay with their children while they withdraw from alcohol and other drugs.
