You’re invited to attend a service celebrating the covenant relationship of the Wesley Church and Uniting Vic.Tas, the Wesleyan foundations of our work together and our community services.
Wesley Mission Victoria was one of the founding agencies of Uniting. It was started by the Wesley Church in 1893, to provide services for poor and vulnerable people and to advocate on their behalf. More than 100 years later, everyone connected to Uniting remains inspired by the belief that we can build a more just, connected and inclusive society.
The Rev Rachel Kronberger will be the preacher for this service of worship. Rachel has been a Uniting Church minister for 20 years and is delighted to now be serving in the congregation of Wesley Church Melbourne. Rachel is inspired by the heritage of 165 years of Christian worship on this site, woven together with care for those in need, and challenges to systemic injustice. We celebrate this weaving together in the covenant between Wesley Church and Uniting Vic.Tas.
The service will be followed by refreshments and opportunities to renew acquaintances and meet new people.
