The Welcome Centre is a safe and welcoming community space for people seeking asylum in Melbourne.

We offer lots of different activities to help you settle in and find your feet, including:

Activities and opportunities for inclusion and socialisation
A community meals program bringing people together to prepare food and share their cultural cuisine with their new community
Short term individual support including information provision and referrals to services
Access to foodbank onsite, clothing and Mykis
English and creative art classes are held at the centre
Education engagement support including school holiday programs
Women’s wellbeing group providing a safe and harmonious space for women from all cultures to feel at ease and enjoy each other's company.
