The Diversity Project offers a safe space and friendly face to young LGBTIQA+ people.
The Diversity Project aims to create a safer, more inclusive and healthier community for young people under 25 years old who are LGBTIQA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender divers and non-binary, intersex, queer and asexual) in Greater Shepparton and Moria Shires.
Community members who identify as LGBTIQA+ come from all walks of life and social and ethnic backgrounds. The inclusiveness of all people in communities, regardless of their sexual preferences and gender orientation is essential to champion diversity. Young people who recognise themselves as LGBTIQA+ need to feel safe and welcomed in community spaces, just like anyone else.
