Parenting groups

Support to raise happy, healthy children

Our parent groups provide support and information to strengthen parent-child relationships, increase development opportunities for children and connections for parents who are feeling isolated.

Our groups include:
Pregnancy and Young Parent Support Group

We offer support to pregnant women and parents under 25 years old, to build the skills and knowledge to raise children. Participants can catch up with others at weekly support groups in Launceston, George Town, Beaconsfield and North Hobart with guest speakers, information sessions and social activities available.

Newpin

Newpin is a centre based program which focuses on parenting skills and the importance of bonding and attachment between a parent and child. This program is designed to build strong, healthy family relationships and focuses on issues such as isolation, family violence, mental health, social disadvantage and low self-esteem. 

Family Futures
This outreach version of the Newpin program is based on parenting, attachment and bonding using the traditional Newpin program framework. We deliver a flexible, tailored program that supports families.
Parenting Groups South East Melbourne
We offer parenting groups in the City of Greater Dandenong, Cardina Shire and the City of Casey. These programs offer social connections, parenting tips to help strengthen your parenting abilities and family bonds.

Being Dad
Being Dad is a 6 week parenting group for fathers with children aged 0-17.
The session are held at our Narre Warren office and run weekly. Topics include parenting, children's development, healthy relationships, managing work life balance, cyber safety and additional supports you can access as a parent.
