Sometimes, for different reasons, children are no longer able to live with their birth families.
Our Permanent Care Program looks after children up to the age of 12 years who are unable to live with their family and need a permanent home.
Babies under 12 months of age who have special needs and who are relinquished for adoption are placed through the Permanent Care program rather than adoption.
Permanent care gives children and young people a stable environment to grow up.
However, more than this, it gives them relationships for life, which are permanent, secure and nurturing.
