Uniting Harrison in partnership with the Croydon North Uniting church and the Maroondah City Council invite you to the launch of their upcoming art exhibition at the Maroondah Access Gallery in Ringwood.
This is a terrific opportunity to see the visual art created by gifted artists in the local community.
Gifford Arts is run by Uniting Harrison thanks to a long standing partnership with the Croydon North Uniting Church. The talented group of emerging and experienced artists meet weekly to draw, paint and create together in their purpose-built art studio.
This will be the first exhibition experience for many of these talented artists, while for others, their work has featured in the annual State Trustees Art Exhibition in Victoria as well as internationally, in London, Berlin and New York.
Operating under the expertise of professional artist Artur Lyczba since the program began some 12 years ago, the community initiative allows the group to explore their art and creativity together in a supported environment.
The exhibition runs 21 May – 13 July 2018.
There is also the opportunity to attend a special Saturday opening and creative engagement presentation by visual artist and author, the Rev Dr Robert Hoskin at 1.30pm on 26 May
