Transitional housing
A place to stay while you get back on your feet.
If you’re experiencing homelessness and need to find a stable place to live, transitional housing can be a great first step.
We manage transitional housing in Melbourne and regional Victoria, under the Victorian Government’s Transitional Housing Management Program.
What is transitional housing?
Transitional housing is available for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
We can help you find and maintain secure, medium-term housing while we work with you to secure a long-term housing.
The program includes:
- Housing information - helping you understand your housing options and equipping you with advice
- Referrals - connecting you with services and advocacy support near you
- Transitional housing - helping you find stable, medium-term accommodation while you get on your feet.
If we can’t assist you in locations where you are looking for housing, see a full list of community housing providers in Victoria.
You can also use AskIzzy to find suitable housing options in your area.
