Our AOD education programs can help them to make better decisions and understand the realities and challenges of AOD use.

We also run programs for people who have been instructed to attend by the courts or police.

Education programs are delivered in a range of locations across Victoria.

InFocus Education Program

This 6 week program offers practical support, information, coping strategies and the opportunity for people to connect through their shared experiences.

First Offender Court Intervention Service - FOCiS

FOCiS is compulsory for first offenders sentenced to the program by the Magistrates' Court. Participants explore the positive and negatives effects of drug use to increase understanding of their own use and the potential harms and consequences, develop skills to identify and reduce risk, and learn about strategies for making change. If you have been instructed to complete FOCiS, you are required to attend the program that the Magistrate Court books you into.

Cautious with Cannabis

This course helps people learn more about short- and long-term effects of cannabis use and includes strategies which can help to reduce the harms, cut down or stop using and making positive change. There is no cost to attend.

Methamphetamine Personal Education Program

This program is for people who have been placed on a diversion program or for people concerned about their methamphetamine use. The program covers information on the effects of methamphetamine use and gives you an opportunity to reflect on the impact of methamphetamine use on your life and those around you. You will receive information on planning for change, making change, getting through withdrawal and relapse prevention strategies. There is no cost to attend.

Alcohol Considering Change

This program provides information on the potential harms of alcohol use, the risks associated with your drinking and strategies to reduce these risks. The program is open to anyone concerned about their own drinking or another person’s drinking. There is no cost to attend.
