Accessible transport assistance for older people

Getting out and about with ease will help you stay healthy, active and connected.

If you’re living in Ararat or Ballarat, you may be able to access our community transport services. While we do not aim to replace local bus or taxi services, community transport can get you from A to B, with the extra support you need.

Our service provides a means of travel to people who aren’t able to access other public transport.

For a small fee, our volunteer drivers can help get you where you need to go, including:

If you’re aged 65+ (or an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person over 50) you may be eligible for lost cost community transport.
