The Orange Door Cranbourne

The Orange Door is a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence, and families who need extra support with the care of children. 

The Orange Door can work with you on your own, or together with your family members depending on your situation. You don’t need a referral. Get in touch with the Orange Door at The Orange Door on 1800 271 170 or [email protected].

Whether you’re facing challenges as a parent related to isolation, mental health, past trauma, financial difficulties, family violence, or involvement with child protection, our parenting and skill development program is here to support you. 

At our Uniting Vic.Tas Cranbourne branch, you can find parenting support through one-on-one support, group sessions, and engaging playgroups. However complex your situation may be, we’re committed to enhancing your parenting abilities and strengthening your family bonds.

The Orange Door is a free service for adults, children and young people who are experiencing or have experienced family violence, and families who need extra support with the care of children.

  • Adults, children and young people’s family violence services
  • Child and family services 
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services 
  • Services for people who use violence.
Contact the Orange Door if:
  • Someone close to you is hurting you, controlling you or making you feel afraid, such as your partner, family member, housemate or carer 
  • You are struggling with parenting due to money issues, family conflict, illness, addiction, grief or isolation 
  • You are concerned about the wellbeing of a child or young person 
  • You are concerned about the safety of a friend or family member 
  • You are using violence and you want to change your behaviour. 
At The Orange Door, we are here to listen to you and help you to get the support you need. We know that people continue to be affected by family violence long after the violence stops.
