1Jun 2021

Lifeline Ballarat, part of Uniting Vic.Tas, is presenting a series of two-day Domestic and Family Violence workshops.

Domestic and Family Violence Response Training (DV-alert) is designed to build capacity in frontline workers where family violence is not a core function of their role.

To be eligible for the free workshops, participants must work or volunteer in health, allied health, community, higher education or childcare or in a frontline capacity supporting the general community.

At these workshops you will learn to:

  • Recognise the signs of domestic and family violence
  • Respond with appropriate care
  • Refer effectively to support services

For more information phone Lifeline Ballarat’s Training Coordinator Belinda Collihole on 0466 852 016 or visit www.dvalert.org.au.

To register for the workshops, e-mail [email protected].
